WARNING: SPOILERS AHEAD

Jimmy McGill is back.

After the season 3 finale left us watching Chuck's house burn down, I wondered how Jimmy would take his brother's death. Chuck had just admitted to Jimmy that he'd never meant that much to him, even though Jimmy had taken care of him since the start of his "condition".

It turned out to be the last time Chuck and Jimmy ever spoke to each other. In the season 4 premiere, we see how Jimmy learns of Chuck's death. It's a phone call from Howard, and Jimmy rushes to the scene with Kim.

Chuck burned half the house down. The rest of the day, Jimmy walks around in a confused state and stares at the ground. Even after he and Kim have some shots, he still stares at the floor. It's clear that he's effected by Chuck's demise, but I'm not certain how much.

My favorite part of the premiere had to be Mike waltzing into Madrigal without anybody noticing. At first, I didn't know what he was getting at. You just see him driving around on a golf cart in the warehouse and even giving orders to employees. It didn't dawn on me until he was reporting to that guy in the office that he was testing out his position as a "security consultant". It's just another reason that Mike is one of Vince Gilligan's greatest creations.

The only part of this episode that put me on the edge of my seat was the scene that shows us Saul after 'Breaking Bad'. As is the case with each season's premiere, we get a brief look at what Saul is up to after the events involving Walter White and company.

In the scene, Saul (or "Gene", as he's known in Nebraska), is taken to the hospital after collapsing to the floor of his Cinnabon store (we saw this in the season 3 premiere episode). After the doctor tells him that he didn't have a heart attack, he's allowed to leave. However, there's a problem. The receptionist is having some problems getting the system to accept Saul's social security number, and it looks like his cover may have been blown. But it turns out she had a typo, and Saul leaves, relieved. He gets in a cab but notices that the driver is from Albuquerque, so he asks him to stop so he can get out. He does, but as Saul is walking away, the driver stays put. It'll be cool to see just who this cab driver really is because he appears to know who Saul is.

Also in this episode was Nacho apparently getting away with an attempt Hector Salamanca's life. Hector has the stroke that puts him in the wheelchair that we see him in on 'Breaking Bad'. It looks like Gus knows what went down, but I'm still not positive he does.

Howard's guilt over Chuck's death causes him to meet with Jimmy and Kim after the funeral. He admits that he believes Chuck committed suicide and that it's his fault. After mentioning the insurance problems that HHM was having with Chuck, Jimmy perks up, and is able to transfer his guilt onto Howard.

This was a great episode and a nice start to season 4. I can't wait for next Monday night.
